NFCO operates through a unique, community-centered model that integrates Human-Centered Design and Asset-Based Community-Led Development.

Our work is guided by Virginia Henderson's framework of 14 basic human needs, ensuring a holistic approach to development that addresses the whole person.

"We don't build programs for communities. We build them with communities — because they are the experts of their own lives."

Placing people at the absolute core of every solution we design and implement together.

🌱
Asset-Based Development

Building on existing community strengths rather than focusing only on deficits and needs.

Disability Inclusion

Ensuring persons with disabilities are active participants, co-designers, and community leaders.
